The Easiest Method to Change the Number Plate Bulbs on Citroen Berlingo

The method described is undoubtedly the simplest and safest way to change the number plate bulbs on a Citroen Berlingo. This way, you won't need screwdrivers to pry on the outer plastic, preventing the risk of breaking the bulb cover. Instead, remove the internal panel of the tailgate, which is done easily by removing the clips that hold it in place, gently prying at the centre of each clip. The panel is now free, and you can access the inside of the metalwork; at the bottom, you will see the bulb holders for the number plate lights. Grasp the bulb holder and turn it a quarter turn counterclockwise to remove it from the housing. Remove the old W5W bulb and insert the new one. Reattach the clips, and you're done, without risking breaking the outer plastics, which become brittle over time.
