How to Follow the Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement on the Citroën C5 Aircross

Performing the engine oil and oil filter replacement on the 2017 Citroën C5 Aircross is a simple and quick task to do independently. To carry out the oil and filter replacement, position the vehicle on a ramp or lift the front end. Remove the engine cover by unscrewing the screws using a star screwdriver. Using a 20 mm socket wrench, remove the nut on the oil sump and allow the used oil to drain into a plastic container. While the oil drains, unscrew the nut that secures the oil filter housing and then proceed with the replacement. Once the oil has finished draining, close the sump nut and reattach the engine cover to lower the vehicle. Pour the new engine oil into the oil reservoir and close the reservoir cap.
