Replacing Reverse Switch on Citroen C3

Model: Citroen C3 FC, FN - Years 2002-2009

Note: the stop switch is typically located in a hard-to-reach position. In some car models, it may slightly differ from what is described. In the model proposed in this example, it is necessary to access the engine compartment to remove and replace it. Required tools: socket with a flexible insert, cross screwdriver, flat screwdriver. Remove the pipes obstructing access to the bottom of the engine compartment (intake pipes or air filter boxes) and locate the switch. Disconnect the cable. If necessary, to facilitate extraction, clean everything with compressed air. Using the flexible socket, grip the switch and unscrew it by turning to the left. Insert the new sensor, screw it in, and reconnect it electrically. Reposition any previously removed pipes and perform a test to verify the correct operation of the device.
