Replace the Battery in a Citroen Picasso

To safely replace the battery in a Citroen Xsara Picasso, position the car on a level surface or on a ramp. Now, identify the position of the battery, which is located inside the cabin, in a compartment accessible beneath the driver's seat. To access it, slide the seat back to its full extent. Remove the headrest from the seat and take off the plastic trim at the back/bottom that covers the horizontal bar. At this point, press three buttons/levers simultaneously (two at the bottom on the sides and one at the level of the pocket on the backrest, as shown in the images) to tilt the seat forward. This gives you access to the battery, which can then be easily replaced. Reassemble everything, and you're done!
