Replacing the key shell of a Citroen? Disassemble the key and replace the cover. Take the key and press the release button. Once the metal key pops out, use a screwdriver to pry between the two covers of the key (in the space where the metal key fits). Pry until the cover opens, then remove the battery with a small screwdriver, take out the metal key and the circuit board. Install the small circuit board onto the new cover, along with the key and battery. Join the two covers and check the correct operation of the remote by pressing the buttons on the key.
