Disassembly and Replacement of the Fuel Filter

Model: Citroen Xsara MK 1 - Years 1997-2006
Part: Fuel pump

If the engine is not receiving fuel, a problem may lie in the malfunction of the fuel pump. Before disassembling the pump, remove the connector and use a tester to check that 12V power is present. If not, the fault may be a blown fuse. If electrical power is present, lift the protective cover and use a spanner to remove the side retaining ring of the fuel pump housing. Gently lift the cover, being careful of the power cables. To extract the pump, slide off the fuel line and pull it out vertically, allowing any contained fuel to drain.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
