How do you reset the engine oil light? Reset the light on the Citroen C5. Turn on the ignition with the appropriate key (you will see the maintenance message), then turn off the ignition and press the button in the centre of the instrument panel. Turn the ignition back on and wait for the countdown (release the button when the seconds finish).

Finally, turn off the ignition with the appropriate key, then turn it back on to check the maintenance has been performed (the light should no longer be illuminated). Use the information display on the instrument panel.
