How to Change the Key Battery of a Citroen C1 (same as Peugeot 107)

To change the key battery, start by taking a small cross-head screwdriver, unscrew the screw located where the manufacturer's emblem is, then use a flat-head screwdriver to pry open the back of the key to separate the key shells. Once the key is disassembled, replace the battery with one coded 2016, prying from underneath the battery with a small flat-head screwdriver. Now you can reassemble the key shells, snapping them together until you hear the click of the clips, and at this point, screw the screw back in. Now you can test the new battery.
