How to Disable the Passenger Airbag on a Citroen C5

The airbag is a very important component as it significantly increases safety during accidents and consequently reduces the risk of serious health damage. For this reason, it should only be disabled in case of maintenance or temporary malfunction. In this guide, you will discover how to disable the passenger airbag in the Citroen C5. Enter the car (driver's side) and ensure the vehicle is turned off. Then locate a small compartment situated on the left side of the dashboard and open it. Insert the key into the mechanism and turn it to "OFF". At this point, the passenger airbag is disabled. To reactivate it, simply turn the key to "ON".
