The airbag is a very important component as it significantly increases safety during accidents and, consequently, decreases the risk of serious damage to health. For this reason it must be deactivated only and exclusively in case of maintenance or temporary malfunction. In this guide we will find out how the passenger airbag is deactivated inside the Citroen C5. Go inside the car (driver's side) and make sure you have turned off the vehicle. Then locate a small compartment located on the left side of the dashboard and open it. Insert the key into the mechanism and turn it to "OFF". The passenger airbag is now deactivated. To reactivate it, simply turn the key to "ON".
