And it makes us understand the importance of owning an OBD II reader Meanwhile, at the end of the stroke, the accelerator pedal gave an annoying click at the end of the stroke, then with the OBD II reader and with the use of a telephone app (ODBclick ) analyzed the stored error codes. The offending error was P2137, acceleration / pedal sensor voltage correlation code. The cost of the replacement is around 107.00 / 110.00 euros on the major e-commerce platforms. After removing the fuse cover panel, unscrew the 3 10MM nuts that secure the accelerator pedal; once the pedal has been removed, remove the stand from the fixing on the engine side wall, in order to disconnect the connector. Replace the steering angle sensor on the Volkswagen Golf 5

When the steering angle sensor malfunction warning light comes on, it may need to be replaced as follows: first remove the steering wheel and the lower steering wheel guard by removing the three fixing screws. The steering sensor is located just below the steering column. To release it you need to have a small screwdriver and insert it into the hole on the front, push the screwdriver all the way down until the clips at the bottom are released. Next, pull down on the back of the card containing the sensor and disengage it from the steering column. At that point take the new card and reposition it, after which proceed backwards to reassemble the various components.
