How to Replace the Battery in a Citroen Xsara Picasso

The battery of the Citroen Xsara Picasso is located under the driver's seat. To remove it, start by taking off the headrest by pressing the tab and pulling it upwards. Move the seat forward, remove the plastic cover at the back of the rail, unscrew the left rear bolt of the rail and the two rear bolts on the right. Slide the seat forward and lift it towards the windscreen to access the battery. Slightly turn the plastic protective screw, disconnect the negative terminal first and then the positive by lifting the clips. Unscrew the nuts of the upper bracket and remove the battery. Finally, take out the old battery, place the new battery, refit the upper bracket, screw the nuts back on, and reverse the disassembly process.
