How to Change the Battery of the Citroen C4 HDI

In this video, learn how to change the battery of the Citroen C4 HDI: ensure the vehicle is off and open the bonnet. The battery is located on the right side of the engine compartment. Use a socket spanner to unscrew the battery support plate. Disconnect the negative terminal, keeping the connector as far away from the battery as possible; then do the same with the positive terminal. Now you can remove the battery. Clean any corrosion from the terminals with sandpaper. Next, take the new battery and apply copper grease to the terminals. Place it in position; reconnect the negative terminal first, then the positive, replace the support plate, and the job is done.
