Citroen Cactus - Video tutorial
Model: Citroen Cactus
MK 1
- Years 2014-2020 In order to replace the timing belt of the Citroën C4 Cactus, you need to lift the car with a jack or a lift, so that you can loosen the screws that fix the panel on the bottom of the car. Once this is removed, you will be able to locate the engine pulley and the belt tensioner, which need to be loosened to reduce the belt tension. Then, accessing from the inside of the engine compartment, you can remove the cover on the left side of the engine block, removing the belt from the camshaft pulleys and replacing it with a new replacement piece.

First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video.
