How to replace the EGR valve on a Citroen C3 1.4 HDI

In this video, we will see how to change the EGR valve on a Citroen C3 1.4 HDI: open the bonnet and disconnect the mass air flow sensor and the electrical connector, then unscrew the air filter, open the air duct, both the upper and lower ones, detach the flexible hose going to the air box and remove the air filter cover, and then the entire air filter box; the EGR valve is right there underneath. It is secured with two screws that can be removed with a 27 screwdriver, but it may still pose some difficulties when removing it. Don't forget to disconnect the electrical connector. Now position the new valve, reconnect the electrical connector, and oil the gasket to improve the seal. Refit the screws and then the air box, reconnect the upper air duct, the flexible hose, and the electrical connector, then the mass air flow sensor, screw the air box back to its support, reconnect the lower air duct, reassemble the air box cover, and secure it with its screws. Job done.
