Replacing the Battery of the Citroen Xsara Picasso

Has the battery of the Citroen Xsara Picasso discharged and does not hold subsequent charging attempts? It is time to replace it. Position yourself in the rear passenger seat on the driver's side, press the buttons that lock the driver's seat tracks and tilt it forward.

Remove the plastic cover of the battery and unscrew the two screws that secure the retaining bar. Disconnect the battery cable terminals, using the handles, remove the battery by rotating it towards you, and insert the new one in reverse order; reconnect the cables to the terminals, secure the bar, replace the cover, and reposition the seat on the tracks.
