Operation of the Stop and Start system of the Dacia Duster MK2

The Dacia Duster is equipped with a Stop and Start system to reduce fuel consumption and harmful emissions. If the vehicle is equipped with an automatic transmission, it will be sufficient to keep the brake pedal pressed, with the vehicle stationary and the transmission in D or N. The function will be indicated by a light on the dashboard and the other functions will remain active. To start again, simply release the brake and press the gas. With a manual transmission, the function is activated with the transmission in neutral and the clutch pedal released. We can keep the engine running for faster starts by pressing the brake pedal more gently for automatic transmissions, and pressing the clutch for manual transmissions. We can disable the Stop and Start function by pressing the corresponding button under the central display. However, the function will automatically activate upon restarting. Low temperatures and a not fully charged battery may prevent the function from activating.

Where is the Spare Wheel in the Peugeot 5008?
