Front Shock Absorber Replacement

Model: Dacia Logan MK 1 - Years 2004-2012

When replacing the front shock absorbers, keep in mind that you need the appropriate clamps to compress the spring during the disassembly of the shock absorber; lift the car, remove the front wheel, and two bolts that secure the shock absorber to the hub support; then access the engine compartment to unscrew the nut securing the shock absorber support to the body strut; at this point, apply the clamps to the spring and compress it enough to unscrew the nut that secures the rubber mount to the shock absorber and complete the disassembly; then insert the spring, the dust cover, and the upper rubber mount onto the new shock absorber and proceed in reverse for the installation on the vehicle.
