Front Shock Absorber Replacement

Model: Dacia Duster HS, MK 1 - Years 2010-2017

To replace the front shock absorbers, first obtain the appropriate clamps to compress the spring and then remove the support from the shaft; start by lifting the vehicle to remove the front wheel, disconnect the grommets, remove the support bracket, and disconnect the drop link; unscrew the mounting bolts of the shock absorber from the hub support; lower the vehicle to access the engine bay and unscrew the nut securing the shock absorber support from the body strut and complete the disassembly; then apply the clamps to the spring to compress it and remove the support from the shaft by sliding off the bellows; finally, insert the spring, bellows, and support onto the new shock absorber and then reverse the process for installation on the vehicle.
