How to remove the power battery from a Dodge Journey. Follow this guide carefully. In this car, the battery is not located in the engine compartment but in the front bumper (left side). The first step: loosen the wheel nuts, lift the car on a column lift and remove the wheel (for convenience), then using a screwdriver, unscrew the screws of the plastic inner wheel arch (left front). Using a socket spanner, unscrew the securing bolts of the battery terminals. Insert the new battery into the housing and reconnect the terminals (tighten all the wheel arch screws). Finally, reassemble the wheel.
