Replacing the Air Filter on the Fiat 500

As part of the maintenance service for the Fiat 500, replacing the air filter is included. To perform this operation, open the bonnet of the engine compartment.

You will find the cover of the filter box immediately behind the front grille. To remove it, unscrew the three screws that secure it. Once opened, pull out the old filter element and replace it with a new one, inserting it fully.

Refit the cover by first positioning the lower tabs and then screwing in the three securing screws. Finally, close the bonnet.
