How to Disable the Airbag on a Fiat Ducato

To temporarily disable the passenger side airbag system on a Fiat Ducato, first turn on the ignition. Then, connect the vehicle to the diagnostic computer.

Wait for the vehicle to load and select the model and year. Next, select "Maintenance" and then "Airbag". Disable the system and restart the instrument cluster, finishing by disconnecting the diagnostic computer.

If it is absolutely necessary to remove the airbag from the vehicle, disconnect the system by opening the dashboard and removing the side and lower cushions on the passenger side. Before doing this, disconnect the battery.
