How to remove and clean the EGR valve on Fiat Idea. Lift the bonnet and secure it, then, using a socket wrench, unscrew the battery securing bolts and remove it from the engine bay. Begin unscrewing the securing bolts of the EGR valve as shown in the video. Once the piece is removed from its seat, unscrew the screws present on it with a screwdriver. Clean the valve using a suitable product for cleaning mechanical parts, using a brush to facilitate the process. Once the piece is restored, reassemble the parts together. Finally, reinstall the EGR valve in the engine bay.
