In order to activate the windshield wipers of the Fiat 500, first you need to insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it to turn on the instrument panel: once this is activated, you can pull down the lever on the right side of the steering wheel to adjust the wiper speed.

To activate the windshield washer nozzles, you need to pull the lever towards you for a few seconds, and the windshield will be washed; to activate the rear wiper, you need to rotate the knob at the end of the same lever.
