Its precise task is to warn the driver, when lit, that the service is due soon and the engine oil and filter will need to be changed.

However, we must not forget to reset the aforementioned warning, which is done as follows: with the instrument panel on, press and hold the accelerator pedal and press the brake pedal seven times. Now wait sixty seconds and release the accelerator.
