The OBD port is installed inside the Fiat Ducato, produced from 2002 to 2006, inside the cabin. Specifically, the port is located on the lower part of the dashboard just below the steering wheel.

The port is protected by a plastic cover; to use the port, we must remove the cover. Its operation is important not only during operations related to scanning the vehicle or resetting some warning lights but also in investigating the reasons for an accident.

The OBD port has become mandatory on all vehicles since the 2000s.
