How to Remove the Airbag from a Fiat Fiorino

Removing the driver’s side airbag is a fairly simple operation, but it is advisable to disconnect the battery first. Obtain a Torx screwdriver of at least size 25 or a pin removal tool, along with a flat-tipped tool to press on the retaining springs. At this point, locate the holes behind the spokes of the steering wheel and, one at a time, insert the screwdriver at an angle of about 45° until it contacts the spring; then press while holding the airbag outward until the spring releases. Repeat the operation on the other side and finally disconnect the horn and detonator connectors.
