How to remove the front shock absorber on a Fiat Ducato? The first step: use a socket spanner to unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts (located in the vehicle's dashboard as shown in the video), lift the vehicle on a column lift and remove the front wheel. Unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts at the wheel hub with a socket spanner (detach the brake line tubes with a screwdriver). Unscrew the bolts on the side, and slide the shock absorber out of its housing (place a support under the bar). Compare the old part with the new one and prepare for installation. Fit the new shock absorber onto the vehicle, reversing the removal steps.
