In this video, we will see how to reset the oil degradation light on a Fiat 500X: as recommended by the manufacturer, to perform this operation, a diagnostic interface is required, which we can obtain, for example, from Amazon with the code B071D8SYXN at a price of £28.99, with free delivery for Prime customers.

Locate the EOBD port, which is located under the steering wheel, and connect the device; turn the key to switch on the ignition, and on our smartphone, install the AlfaOBD application, and connect to our interface, select the language, select our Bluetooth interface, click on the Bluetooth symbol on our phone, select our vehicle and the "engine" function, then the ECU/connect, then go to the symbol of the car with the bonnet open: oil replacement/start and the procedure will begin.

Remember that on this car, the service light and the oil degradation light are two different things.
