To reset the service light on a Fiat 500, get into the car and close all the doors. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the MAR position without starting the engine.

Wait for the warning lights on the dashboard to illuminate completely. Then, press the accelerator pedal fully three times within ten seconds.

After the third press, release the pedal and wait a moment with the ignition on. Turn the key to STOP to switch off the instrument panel. Wait a few seconds, then turn the key back to the MAR position to check that the maintenance light has been reset and does not appear on the display anymore.
