How to Replace the Cabin Air Filter on a Fiat 500

To replace the cabin air filter on a Fiat 500, open the passenger door and locate the compartment situated under the dashboard. Remove the cover panel secured with screws or clips to access the pollen filter housing. Open the filter compartment cover by releasing the fastening tabs and pull out the old filter element, noting the installation direction indicated by the arrows. Clean the inside of the housing to remove dust and accumulated debris. Insert the new filter, ensuring the airflow direction indicated on the component is respected. Close the cover, reattach the protection panel, and check that all elements are securely fastened before using the ventilation system.
