How to change the engine oil in a Fiat 500

To replace the engine oil in a Fiat 500, position the vehicle on a flat surface and lift it securely to access the underside of the engine. Place a basin under the oil sump and unscrew the filler cap in the engine bay. Then, remove the drain plug located under the sump and allow the used oil to completely drain out. Once draining is complete, refit the drain plug, checking the condition of the seal. Pour in the new lubricant through the upper filler neck, using the amount specified for the engine. Check the level with the dipstick and adjust if necessary. Start the engine for a moment, turn it off, and recheck the level, ensuring there are no leaks around the drain plug.
