- Years 2007-2022 Let's see in this guide how to replace the engine oil and oil filter of the Fiat 500 1.3 Multijet, following these simple steps. First we lift the car and start unscrewing the oil vent bolt that we find on the sump, letting it drain into a container for about ten minutes; after which we unscrew the oil filter cartridge that we find on the engine compartment, using a socket wrench, as shown in the video. At this point we unscrew the filler cap and pour in the new engine oil, then check the level using the dipstick!
