In this video, we can see how to change the oil filter of the Fiat 500X. First, we open the hood and remove the engine protection cover. Then, we open the oil refill cap and lift the vehicle. It will be necessary to remove the underbody shield. At this point, we remove the oil drain plug and let the oil flow into a suitable basin; we dispose of the used oil at a designated collection center. While the oil drains, we focus on the filter and use a 32mm wrench to remove the cap. Some oil will also come out here, so we need another basin. We remove the O-ring, which will be replaced anyway, and lubricate it with clean oil. We insert the new filter and close the cap. We replace the washer and oil drain plug, and tighten them back in place. We can lower the vehicle and refill it with 4.7 liters of engine oil; we will check the level with the dipstick. We also replace the air filter by removing the screws and removing the cover: we take out the old filter and install the new one. We screw the screws back in place. We also replace the cabin filter, which is located in the glove compartment, on the left side, towards the console. We clean the container thoroughly from dirt and residue, and then place the new filter in its position. Operations completed.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo
