How to Remove the Fuel Pump from a Fiat Palio

How do you remove the fuel pump from a Fiat Palio? Disconnect the battery cables, then remove the rear seats of the car. You will find the wiring and a metal piece with screws that need to be removed. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the securing screws that hold the metal cap; remove it from its seat. Wrap the entire perimeter of the metal sheet with absorbent paper, then, using a chisel, unscrew the large securing pin (if present). Disconnect the power connectors and the liquid circulation tubes. Pull out the fuel pump assembly.
