How to Remove the Electric Lock from a Fiat Grande Punto

Learn how to remove the electric lock located in the door panel of a Fiat Grande Punto. Before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Begin disassembly: remove the switch panel for the window lifters using a lever, then use a screwdriver to unscrew the securing screws on the plastic panel. Once all screws are removed, use the lever to detach all the plastic clips that secure the door. Remove the cover panel, disconnect any power connectors and release cable. Peel off the adhesive plastic cover and unscrew the securing screws of the lock; remove it from the door. Reassemble all parts with the new electric lock.
