Removing Door Lock from a Fiat Grande Punto

Need to remove the door lock? Remove the lock if it is damaged. Here’s how to do it on a Grande Punto. Use a lever to remove the switch panel, then, with a screwdriver, unscrew the fastening screws on the plastic panel. Once all screws are removed, use the lever to detach all the plastic clips holding the door. Pull off the door panel by hand, disconnect any power connectors and release cables. Remove the adhesive covering and unscrew the handle and lock as shown in the video with the appropriate key (unscrew the screws on the side of the door). Replace the damaged lock with a new one.
