How to Replace Glow Plugs on a Fiat Grande Punto

If the glow plug warning light flashes on the instrument panel when you turn on the ignition, it means one or more of the plugs are damaged. It is advisable to replace all four plugs and perform this operation with the engine warm. Start by disconnecting the connector from the air mass sensor located in front of the engine air filter housing, then remove the housing itself. The glow plugs are located just below the rail. At this point, disconnect the fuel pipes, blow on the glow plug seats to remove any dirt, spray some penetrating oil, and unscrew the glow plugs. Then, reverse the process to install the new ones, applying copper grease to the threads.
