How to Change the Engine Oil on a Fiat Grande Punto

How to drain the oil and oil filter on a Fiat Grande Punto. Follow this guide to proceed with the replacement. Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the bonnet and secure it. Using a socket wrench, unscrew the large retaining bolt of the container cap where the oil filter is located. Unscrew the drain bolt from the oil sump (let the used oil drain into a container) and screw it back in. Fit a new filter into the container, ensuring it adheres well around the walls. Finally, refit the oil box cap and top up the engine oil. Close the bonnet.
