Replace Door Lock on Fiat 500

Is the lock not functioning anymore? Let's see how to disassemble it on a Fiat 500. Before starting the disassembly work, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the securing pins on the fixed handle located on the door panel, and unscrew the pins located in the plastic of the door opening lever. Remove the handle from the door panel, then use a lever to detach the trim panel. Use the lever to detach the adhesive panel of the door, and disconnect the cable for the door opening lever. Remove the external handle. Remove the lock from the handle. Install the new lock and reassemble the parts.
