How to Replace the Bonnet Release Cable on a Fiat Punto

Start by opening the front bonnet, then remove the bonnet locking mechanism. Once you have removed the locking system, you will have access to the broken cable and its sheath. Before you can remove it, disconnect the other end connected to the handle. After disconnecting the cable, proceed to remove it along with its sheath. To fit the new cable and close everything up, simply follow these steps in reverse, and you will have successfully completed the replacement of the front bonnet release cable on your Fiat Punto.
