Remove the Gear Cable on Fiat Punto

Replace the gear cable on the Fiat Punto if you have issues. Lift the bonnet and secure it, then use a socket spanner to undo the locking pins of the clutch cable. Start removing the tightening pins of the gear cable as shown in the video. Once the bolts are undone from their seat, remove them. Pull the clutch cable out through the inside of the car (centre tunnel). Once the cable is removed, fit the new part in the engine bay. Feed the new cable from the engine bay to the centre tunnel, then tighten the securing pins.
