Let's see how to replace the front brake pads on a Fiat 500. Lift the car on a column lift and remove the wheel to access the brake disc. Unscrew the locking pin of the brake caliper, removing it from the wheel hub. Use a screwdriver to detach the pads to be replaced from the caliper of the wheel hub. Fit the new pads onto the brake caliper, then mount the brake caliper with the support onto the brake disc.

Tighten all the pins and refit the wheel. Perform a brake pedal pressure test: if it feels too soft, you will need to bleed the brake system.
