Operation: Replacing the cabin air filter

Replacing the cabin air filter on this car is a fairly straightforward operation. The filter is located in the engine compartment, immediately after the rear window base, on the left side: it is covered by a flap, which must be removed. The filter is locked in its seat by two plastic tabs, which must be carefully forced to prevent them from breaking. Once the old filter has been removed, the new one is inserted between the tabs and the flap is closed. This operation is therefore quick and inexpensive and can be carried out in a very short time even without being an expert.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo
