How to Replace the Timing Belt on the Fiat 500X?

To replace the timing belt on the Fiat 500X, open the bonnet and access the engine compartment: the belt is located on the left side of the engine, so you can access it by removing the plastic cover on the side of the engine. This will allow you to loosen the central pin of the tensioner roller, reducing the tension of the belt so that it can be extracted from its housing. The new belt can then be positioned around the pulleys and should be tensioned by tightening the pin of the tensioner roller.
