To replace the gear gaiter on the Fiat Panda, follow these steps: start by pulling the gear knob upwards, remove the spring from the knob, then pull from the bottom to remove the gear gaiter. Take the new gaiter, place the upper part of the old gaiter, the old plastic support, and fit it into its place. Refit the spring of the gear knob and the knob itself. The video also shows the replacement of the lower plastic part of the gaiter. Next, engage reverse gear (while the gaiter is still removed) and unscrew the screws with a cross-head screwdriver. Remove the plastic by prying both left and right, and clean the area where the plastic was removed. Refit the new plastic by screwing the screws back in, apply some grease to the gear lever, and reassemble the gaiter, spring, and knob.
