How to Remove the Steering Wheel from a Fiat 500

To remove the steering wheel from a Fiat 500, you need to unclip the airbag fastening clips located at the back of the steering wheel. Once these clips are released, the airbag will be freed from its housing, allowing you to disconnect the connectors at its rear to remove it completely. After removing the airbag, you can unscrew the central nut located beneath the airbag, enabling the steering wheel to be fully removed. After removal, you can fit the new steering wheel, also installing the airbag.
