Replacing the Camshaft Oil Seal

The camshaft oil seal may deteriorate, causing oil leaks that contaminate the entire timing area; replacing it is fairly straightforward, except that you will need to remove the timing belt and the toothed pulley connected to the camshaft. Once the pulley is removed, extract the old oil seal, eliminate any impurities, and insert the new one after lubricating it with clean oil; press it in until fully seated using a pad and reassemble the toothed pulley, tightening the fixing bolt securely.
