Replacement of Cylinder Head Fixing Pins

Model: Fiat Bravo - Years 1995-2001

Before applying the new cylinder head gasket, re-thread the fixing holes on the block, choosing the correct pitch for the tap. During this operation, ensure that no debris ends up in the cylinders. Apply copper grease to the bottom of the thread on the new pins and just below the head. Position the gasket and cylinder head on the block and insert the new set of pins, which should be tightened in a cross pattern using both a torque wrench and a calibrated spanner. This will ensure even tightening.
