To change the engine oil and replace the oil filter, you will need a few tools: new oil filter, a pre-change cleaner, it is a can of SAE 5W-30 engine oil. Get in the vehicle, pull the hood release lever; lift the hood and secure it in a safe position using the special rod. Locate the oil filler cap, open it and pour in the pre-change detergent, in this way you can degrease the engine and eliminate the most stubborn residues. Before using the detergent, leave the car running for 5 minutes so that the oil is a little warm, then add the product and let it run for 10/15 minutes. Immediately afterwards you can proceed with emptying the used oil, to do this I would have to lift the front part of the vehicle with a jack and secure it by placing it on trestles. Now remove the plastic cover to access the oil filter bolt. Unscrew the bolt with a socket wrench with a 12mm insert and then let the oil flow into an empty container; insert the oil cap and screw the bolt back on with the same socket wrench used before. Now you can move on to replacing the filter: to do this you will first have to disconnect and remove the air inlet duct, in this way you will have access to the filter protection box. Remove the box using a socket wrench with extension, a 30 and a 10 torx socket, then unscrew all the screws and nuts present and remove the cover. With a 27mm socket wrench, unscrew the filter flange counterclockwise and remove it. Detach the filter cartridge from the flange and remove the gasket; clean the inside with brake cleaner and a cloth and insert the new filter and new gasket. Put the flange back in place and re-screw all the components you removed earlier.
