To replace the thermostat on a Fiat 500 Abarth, open the car's bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: you will need to disconnect and free the battery from its bolts so that it can be removed, providing access to the thermostat. This can now be freed from its housing by disconnecting the connected pipes and unscrewing the screws that secure it. Once the new thermostat has been connected to the pipes and secured with the screws, reinstall all previously removed components.
